October has the last Reniassance Faires of the year in our area.  The temperature's cooler, and you can wear all your gear without passing out from the heat!

Las Vegas Reniassance Faire

The Las Vegas Ren Faire's from October 6-8.  It's very large, with hundreds of guilds.  It has the best quality entertainment of any of the faires around, and it stays open til 10pm so it can cool down.  When you combine "What happens at Faire stays at Faire," with "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," it gets awesomely crazy!  And you can go do the strip afterwards in constume and not even raise an eyebrow!  

That's where you'll find the Hosehead Clan this weekend.  The more the merrier, and we've got plenty of costumes for anybody interested in a lost weekend.


Escondido Reniassance Faire

This is our hometown faire near our house, where we know all the people and like to hang out.  While it is small, it draws a busy crowd because it is near Halloween and everybody can show off their constumes.  The location is great in a shady park with plenty of room to sit.  It allows dogs, and you can bring in your own picnic and eat yourelf silly and nap on the grass.  But the bone fights got banned because of excessive levels of intoxication in the participants and crowd.  :'(
